I have only tried a few different (ROKU, OSD) units so I can't tell you if there is anything I would rather have. But I am not a big fan of this device.
I don't really like the menu system. I did not have any issue upgrading to 1.0.12 firmware, but I guess others have. WD says they will replace your unit if this happens, but that would be a pain for sure.
I think if WD created a V2 firmware that added a lot of functionality including Amazon and Netflix they would really have something, but this is probably wishful thinking.
