I have been trying to get this device to work properly for 3 days straight. I have a WD book HD hooked up to the USB port, and when I attempt to play back recorded TV (ts format), it will not play correctly. The device starts to play the media, then after a minute or so, it goes into slow-motion with no sound. Stopping and restarting the video takes you through the same cycle. For the last 3 days, I have been reviewing all the forums and apparently it is a very common problem that nearly everyone is experiencing. What is strange is that before I purchased the item, I did a reasonable amount of research. Somehow, most all that research indicated that it would play anything you threw at it. My reality is that it hasn't played anything correctly yet.
On another note. I've registered a complaint with Western Digital when I registered the device, and their email promised a response within 24 hours.
