This device is great if you have a lan connection. it handles many codecs but not all. i'm happy with it. do research on the codecs before you buy. You might be better off with the asus oplayGet more detail about Western Digital WD TV Live Network-ready HD Media Player WDBAAN0000NBK-NESN.
