Western Digital WD TV Live Network-ready HD Media Player WDBAAN0000NBK-NESN Immediately

The WD Live TV is easy to setup, works flawlessy with just bout everything I have thrown at it. Only issues I have run into are really related to the fact that I have Mac's and had some issues with the file system setup so that I could drag and drop from my MacBook Pro directly to the pair of 1TB WD MyBook drives I attached. To get it to work seamlessly, I formatted the drives NTFS via Parallels/Vista, and then installed MacFUSE and Tuxera NTFS. File exchange works flawlessly and I can even drag and drop to the WDLIVETV as a network attached resource directly from my MacBook Pro. Next, I setup Plex on my Mac and the WD sees the additional "Media server" on the network properly and streams movies/videos that I have on my Mac. I have not been able to get Netflix or Hulu to stream properly yet, but think I still have more tinkering to do in order to get there. I HIGHLY recommend this box for people that want a no fuss solution to media storage and serving attached to their HD TV. I think my next iteration will be a Mac Mini running Plex directly attached to my HD TV, and I will re-deploy the HD LiveTV into the bedroom.Get more detail about Western Digital WD TV Live Network-ready HD Media Player WDBAAN0000NBK-NESN.
