I bought this media player because my roomate was always playing games on my PS3, that i also use as a media player and was always watching tv, i then got a tv for my room but refused to take the PS3 (the one thing about the PS3, is that it doesnt play MKV files and some AVI files dont play well either), the Western Digital WD TV Live had good reviews plus i can watch youtube on the web, the only thing i hope for is that Western Digital makes some kind of deal with HULU so i can watch my favorite HD videos. Western Digital WD TV Live plays all my files, has a array of menu options, was really slow on the initial loading of the videos i had, but i updated the firm ware and boom alot faster.
